Varg was born from a simple belief: outdoor clothing could be more than just functional. After many years in elite sailing, expeditions, and countless days on ski mountains around the world, a feeling emerged: too many brands lacked personality, design, and longevity. Function was there, but not always the feeling. Style was there, but often at the expense of quality and durability. We wanted to create something different.
Garments that offer high quality, are thoughtfully designed, and comfortable to wear, while also making you feel good when wearing them. Clothing that blurs the line between technical outdoor products and lifestyle. Pieces that feel just as natural on the mountain, by the sea, and in the forest as they do in the city, where life happens between adventures.
Nature has always been our greatest source of inspiration. Growing up in the Stockholm archipelago and spending many years on Sweden’s west coast has made the sea a natural part of life. Wind, salt, cliffs, and open landscapes have shaped the way we think about function, materials, and durability. At the same time, we draw inspiration from Nordic design language—clean lines, thoughtful details, and an effortless simplicity.

The name Varg comes from the wolf’s own characteristics—strong, independent, curious, and resilient. An animal that moves freely between different worlds and always follows its own path. The same spirit lives in our products.
We develop clothing for a life in motion, with durability as a foundation, comfortable materials, smart functionality, and a distinctive expression. For us, it’s not about choosing between nature and the city. We love both. And we design garments for people who want to live in both worlds.
